Summer has been over for quite some time now, and I’ve since then exchange my shorts for more comfortable and winter suitable joggers and coats. While winter isn’t over quite yet, I can say that I am very excited for the new year ahead and all the inspiration I’ve been given from the spring/summer 2014 collections.

I love Los Angeles. It’s true. I’ve had the pleasure of traveling to other cities, and none compare to the place I call home. I guess you could say that I’m the ultimate ambassador for Los Angeles. While taking these photos I could complain that the weather had been scorching hot for far too long, but I won’t. It’s one of the great things about living in California, great weather nearly year round. I am a bit relieved to have had it cool down recently.

If I composed a top ten list of my favorite music artist, Massive Attack would place high on it. A trip-hop, electronic group originating from Bristol, UK. The band formed in 1988 and consists of members Robert “3D” Del Naja and Grant “Daddy G” Marshall. Over the span of five studio albums, a sensual and moody sound characterizes what has become to be known as Massive Attack. As possible my favorite Massive Attack song. Enjoy ‘Dissolved Girl‘.
As if it isn’t obvious, I’m obsessing over the varsity trend. You know, anything with big bold letters or numbers (like here), or jackets like this quilted varsity jacket from ASOS, similar to the one I recently purchased. It’s too hot here in Los Angeles for wearing jackets yet, but at least I’ll be ready when the foliage starts to match the season.
